Training on the Apprenticeship Program addressed to the Presidents and Coordinators of the Local Labor Development Boards and the Executive Directors of the 15 Labor Development Areas in Puerto Rico, under the System of Opportunities and Innovation Law en_cc781905-5cde-3194-bb3b -136bad5cf58d_the WIOA Workforce. Alli the First Registered Apprenticeship Program in Puerto Rico was signed, with the presence of Mrs. Natasha Vazqueztell Cordero, Program Director of_cc75819de_cc75819de 3194-bb3b-136bad5cf58d_ Labor Development (PDL), Ing. Manuel Laboy Rivera, Secretary of the Department of Economic Development and Commerce (DDEC) who signed together with Edison Severino and Christian Rodríguez, representatives of the Puerto Rico Laborer's Join Apprenticeship & Training Committee, and together with John Vigueras, on behalf of Bernadette Rivera, Assistant Director of LIUNA Training & Education Fund and representative Agents of the Federal Labor Department, Mr. José Velázquez and Mr. Charles McNeil III, led by John Ladd, Director of the National Office of Apprenticeship.

In this activity we had the participation of the President of the Sagrada Familia Cooperative, Mr. Eddie W. Alicea, who recognizes the entrepreneurs who graduate from the "Gypsum Board" workshop, and who reiterates the commitment to labor and economic development from the region. He took the opportunity to invite them to participate in the Business Incubation and Acceleration Program under CDBG DR Puerto Rico funds from the Department of Housing.
